The Majestic Eagle.
By far this one is my best. Made for one of my Best Friends - so the impact was more.
Took me around a month of working an hour every night. Totally worth it!

Quilled Peacock mosaic - Based on Erin Curet's tutorial
Another Quill along tutorial that was so much of fun by Erin Curet of Littlecircles.
This Peacock was abstract and involved Erin's mosaic quilling which is lots of pieces of quilled shapes filling up the picture as a mosaic.
Erin offers these tutorials as a learning environment where she walks you through every stage from prepping your canvas, to quilling, and finally matting and framing. She is generous with her time and her work. For which many quillers around the world like me are grateful.
Please hop over to her site to take a look at her wonderful work and store.
The work......
And the final piece....signed and delivered as a wedding gift to family

Birthday gift for a friend
So here i go again - i did a quilled yellowhammer bird based off Jane Jenkins English birds.
It came out really nice. I painted a sky blue for the background on a canvas and framed it in a 8 x 8 shadowbox frame.
Here is the final piece. And my friend loved it :)
